For many years, Harnethia has been planning to build an education and performing Arts Center.  Life savings have been invested the the project.  Properties have been acquired for the building.  However, Clarence is in a nursing home and Harnethia is ill, both being 80 yrs. old they are struggling to hold on to the properties. 

The cultural Heritage Performers need sponsors and supporters for the building project.  We need monthly pledges for donations.  Everyone that contribute will be listed on the wall for sponsors and supporters, and will be recognized and appreciated for years to come for helping to make such a wonderful thing happen in our community.

Programs and Projects
Some of our Programs and Projects include:
I.International Holiday Parade
The purpose of the parade is to give our community youth and adults an opportunity to work together to make the parade happen.  They will do research and come up with ideas and designs for the floats, and decorate them for the parade.  Schools, churches, organizations, businesses and individuals are invited to participate.

This is a Community unity event, that brings people together for a common cause and promotes a sense of oneness and unity.

The positive affect the parade has had on our citizens, especially our youth is encouragement to continue this project for our citizens, especially our youth.  We have sponsored the parade & festival for more than 30 years.

II.The International Breakfast
Middle school, High School and College Students are invited to attend the breakfast.

The purpose of the breakfast is to give our youth and opportunity to express themselves.  They  may talk about events, issues and concerns they have, and at the same time get  encouragement from our community leaders and people of many professions that can five them   guidance and direction.

Topics for discussion are usually dictated by the news and current events and the needs of the youth.  Goal Setting for life is usually the first topic beginning each year.  We have sponsored the breakfast for 30 years plus years.

The youth do not pay for their breakfast.  Harnethia had a vision in the middle of the night "Students do not pay for their breakfast".  Harnethia did not understand how this could be since she is on a fixed income, but she moved quickly on the idea.  She has miracle stories of how sponsors came from seemingly nowhere..potential sponsors & supporters can sign up by downloading the following form (to download click the link below)

III.The International Tea
We have sponsored the tea for more than 30 years, usually at Moreno Valley City Council Chambers.

The purpose of the tea is to enjoy a festive occasion during the holiday season and  honor and present certificates to those who volunteer during the year.
The tea provides another opportunity for our performers to perform.
